چکیده

Computer software that simulates the thermodynamic and gas dynamic properties of internal combustion engines can play a significant role in design optimization engines. In present work, quasi-dimensional numerical model for two-stroke is presented. Particular attention was paid to reporting in-cylinder models, (turbulent with flame development flame–wall interaction), turbulence (K-k-ϵ model), addition tumble- squish-generated quite common such The aim reduce calibration constants, which are fundamental correlating models experiments, relations calculating tumble ratio turbulent scales were reported. A one-dimensional manifolds also presented (solving Euler equations), using second-order Roe Riemann solver some improvements, paying particular source terms, as area variation. Additionally, new approach end-pipe boundaries, would mass conservation error, tested two kart engines, used racing purposes: IAME X30 engine Screamer III KZ engine. comparison between results experimental data made, good accordance observed, root mean square error about 0.5 kW providing accuracy evaluating changes, chamber squish exhaust pipe length.

Numerical solution for one-dimensional independent of time Schrödinger Equation

In this paper, one of the numerical solution method of one- particle, one dimensional timeindependentSchrodinger equation are presented that allows one to obtain accurate bound state eigenvalues and functions for an arbitrary potential energy function V(x).For each case, we draw eigen functions versus the related reduced variable for the correspondingenergies. The paper ended with a comparison ...

A two-dimensional numerical model of a planar solid oxide fuel cell

A two-dimensional CFD model of a planar solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) has been developed. This model can predict the performance of SOFC at various operating and design conditions. The effect of Knudsen diffusion is accounted in the porous electrode (backing) and reaction zonelayers. The mathematical model solves conservation of electrons and ions and conservation ofspecies. The model is formulate...

A numerical test of a high-penetrability approximation for the one-dimensional penetrable-square-well model.

The one-dimensional penetrable-square-well fluid is studied using both analytical tools and specialized Monte Carlo simulations. The model consists of a penetrable core characterized by a finite repulsive energy combined with a short-range attractive well. This is a many-body one-dimensional problem, lacking an exact analytical solution, for which the usual van Hove theorem on the absence of ph...

a numerical approach for one dimensional thermal consolidation of clays

in saturated soils, heating induces thermal expansion of both grains and the pore fluid. lower thermal expansion coefficient of aggregates results in the increase of pore pressure and reduction of the effective stress besides subsequent volume changes due to the dissipation of pore pressure and heat transfer. dissipation of thermally induced pore pressure with time is a coupled thermo-hydro-mec...

A Conservative Multi-block Algorithm for Two-dimensional Numerical Model

A multi-block algorithm and its implementation in two-dimensional finite element numerical model CCHE2D are presented. In addition to a conventional Lagrangian Interpolation Method (LIM), a novel interpolation method, called Consistent Interpolation Method (CIM), is proposed for more accurate information transfer across the interfaces. The consistent interpolation solves the governing equations...
